Description:
Leidos is seeking a Cimplicity EMS SCADA Engineer based in Walled Lake, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience with HMI / SCADA software packages, specifically GE's Cimplicity software. Must also be proficient with computer system hardware, operating systems, and supporting office software. Experience with facility HVAC and utility systems is a strong plus for this position.
Role and Responsibility:
Work consists of General Motors facility EMS projects including HVAC, Compressed Air, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Waste Treatment, Water, Metering, and Lighting.
Provide EMS programming and startup services.
Provide EMS deployment coordination and interface with internal and customer project staff.
Develop and track EMS deployment and commissioning task lists.
Provide EMS training at customer sites.
Provide project documentation and EMS manual development.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements
2 plus years of experience and a bachelor's degree(Engineering or Technical degree)preferred. Will substitute years of experience in lieu of degree
Experience with GE Cimplicity.
Must have strong computer literacy.
Facility HVAC and utility systems a plus.
General Motors facility experience a plus.
Computer Programming and/or PLC Programming Experience a plus. (Allen Bradley/Rockwell Logix, Java, .NET)
Ability to break down large tasks into smaller pieces, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Estimated 25% travel may be required.
