Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an A&P Technician to join our team.
This position is in the Part 145 Repair Station. This roll is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and disassembly tasks including, but not limited to, disassembly, assembly, evaluation, test, cleaning of parts, and rework of components, and container and engine preparation for shipment. Assignments are typically accomplished by following process plans, general work instructions, or engine manuals.
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills, the ability to read and interpret sketches or drawings, good penmanship and the ability to read/or use inspection equipment are required. Gas turbine engine experience and an A&P mechanics license is required.
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs from 4 inches to 25 inches (one rep) (Note ? must use a lift assist or assistance from other individual(s) when lifting in excess of 50 lbs)
Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
Must be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
Responsible for and accountable for the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality Policy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
