Business Development Coordinator

Job Description:
Leidos has an outstanding opportunity for a Business Development Coordinator who will focus on assembly management software sales to new customers throughout North America. This role will be primarily customer interfacing with Owners to develop new business. Ownership of the plans and strategies aimed at serving and expanding the customer sales base in their assigned area. Dissemination of key messages, initiatives, and of information pertaining to the value Leidos brings to targeted customers, opportunities, and solutions. Partner with potential customers, establishing relationships & maximizing the business potential for both parties.

Understands customer demands, funding restraints and is a student of their business
Solid understanding of the manufacturing industry and their assembly practices is a plus

Experience with Challenger or other strategic selling techniques
Manufacturing market knowledge
Proven experience developing and executing strategies for sales growth
Knowledge or Awareness of current climate in the Manufacturing Industry (i.e. plant floor automated systems)
Customer engagement at senior levels; building long-term strategic and executive relationships
Ability to create/seek out and assess new opportunities
Build trust and credibility at all levels of the customers' organization, including decision-makers across the customers' business functions and c-suite
Clearly articulate value and demonstrate how solutions map to a customers' needs
Compelling presentation and communication skills tailored to needs of diverse audiences

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of business to business sales experience selling software, system integration services, or other related technical industry experience (MES, IoT, SaaS, etc.)
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
System integration and software development experience for assembly production lines
In depth knowledge of production quality systems
Six sigma a plus
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
